2. How does it work?
Tradesmen.ie is a free online service for customers looking
for a tradesman helping them get up to 4 quotes for their job.
The customer fills in a form online describing the work that
they want carried out and the type of tradesman they are looking
for. We then send text messages and/or emails to all of the
tradesmen who have expressed an interest in work in that area.
The first 4 tradesmen who reply are sent the customer contact
details and get a chance to quote for the job.

3. Are the tradesmen vetted?
Tradesmen.ie does not vet the tradesmen but we believe that
our bespoke rating system gives the best independent feedback
on the price, quality and reliability of the tradesmen. It is
also a good indication if the tradesmen are willing to be rated
on our system. The email address and mobile numbers of the tradesmen
are verified before they can use the system.
It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that
the tradesman is adequately qualified and has the relevant insurance
etc. before choosing them for the job.

4. What to do if things go wrong?
In the unlikely event that you have any type of problem with
a tradesman we have referred to you please contact us immediately
by filling in a detailed description of your complaint here
and we will address your complaint immediately.
Please don't forget to include the tradesman's name and we will
follow up your complaint with the tradesman immediately.

5. Can I request a quote by text/email only?
Yes, you can request to receive a quote by email or text only
but you must be available to speak to the tradesmen initially.
To request to receive a quote by email or text only simply enter
your preference in the appropriate section (when to call) when
you are submitting your job.
You must enter a valid mobile number to be able to receive quotes,
this is required by Tradesmen.ie. If a mobile is not provided
we will not be able to proceed getting you quotes for your job.
We will inform the tradesmen to contact you be your preferred
method and time but you must enter a mobile number for us to
process your job.

6. How do I cancel my job?
To cancel your job simply fill in the form here
with the message, "cancel my job".

7. How can I make changes to my job?
To make a change to your job simply fill in the form here
letting us know what changes you need to make to the job description.
However, it will be too late if the 4 tradesmen have already
been sent your contact details and you can choose to inform
the tradesmen when they contact you or else cancel the job and
post a new one.

If you have not received a confirmation text or email after
inputting your job details looking for a quote then please fill

will contact you as soon as possible to verify your contact
details and confirm the job.

11. How long will it take to get a quote
from a Tradesman?
We should be able to get you quotes within an hour Monday to
Friday from 9am to 5.30pm for the Dublin/Kildare/Meath regions
and within the day for other regions (depending on your choice
of when to be contacted).

12. I want to leave feedback on a tradesman, how do I do
this?
To leave feedback on a tradesman please fill in the form here giving the tradesman's
name, a description of the work done, your rating out of 10
and the price of the job.

13. I want to view feedback on tradesmen,
how do I do this?
When you post a job you will receive up to four emails with
the details of each of the tradesmen who are interested in quoting
for your job. Each email will contain the contact details for
the tradesman, his/her description of services and any reviews
or feedback received about that tradesman from previous customers.
