These terms and conditions were updated on 15th February 2024. The following terms and conditions for buying or obtaining leads shall apply to service providers registering on or after 15th February 2024, as from the date of registration. For service providers who registered prior to 15th February 2024, the conditions shall apply as from 15th February 2024. These conditions must be read in conjunction with our User Agreement, Privacy Policy and Fees Policy. You can see the previous terms and conditions for buying or obtaining leads here.

Our aim is to help service providers to find good quality genuine customers. We also want to help customers to get a number of quotes from good quality reliable service providers and to hire the service provider who they feel can provide a good quality service for a price that is fair and reasonable for both parties. In order to ensure that service providers registered on our website are performing to a very high standard, there is certain information that a service provider must provide or undertake to be able to provide in order to buy or obtain leads. We hope that by having these conditions in place, that it will help to level the playing field and lead to a higher quality service overall. As a result we hope that customers will have more confidence in the ability of service providers registered on our website and that in return service providers will get more work from the jobs they quote. Therefore, if you are a service provider registered on our website you must agree to the following terms and conditions before you can buy or obtain leads:-

You agree to abide by our code of conduct which you can see here.

You agree to provide the following on request:-

1. A copy of a photo ID,

2. Verification of your postal address,

3. At least 5 references from previous customers within a reasonable distance of your base

You make a self-declaration that you have an appropriate public liability insurance in place. You agree that you are responsible for ensuring you have the correct cover for the type of risk that is attached to your business. For example, if you employ other people to work for you in any way through direct employment or by subcontracting work, you must give an undertaking to have the appropriate employers liability insurance.

You make a self-declaration that you are registered for tax as a sole trader, company or partnership and that you are tax compliant.

If you are operating under one or more of the professions below, you make a self-declaration that you have in your possession and can provide the following on request:-
Gas Fitters
Membership of the Register of Gas Installers of Ireland (RGII)
Electricians
Membership of the Register of Electrical Contractors of Ireland (RECI)
Appliance Repairs
That you have a suitable qualification or certification in this area.
Alarm, Access Control and CCTV Installers
That you are licensed with the Private Security Authority (PSA)
Locksmiths
From 1st February 2017 that you are licensed with the Private Security Authority (PSA)
Building Engineer, Architect or Building Surveyor
That you have Professional Indemnity Insurance, a suitable qualification in this area and be a member of a relevant organisation.
Builder - General, Builder - Ground Works, Builder - Attic Conversions, Builder - House Extensions, Builder - New Builds, Conservatories & Sunrooms
That you have a suitable qualification and/or you can provide a reference from a suitably qualified Building Engineer, Architect or Building Surveyor to confirm that you have carried out building works in the past that has been signed off by them which conform to the Irish Building Regulations.

We reserve the right to request and to verify any of the information above. If your broker has confirmed your public liability, employers liability, or professional indemnity insurance with us, you grant your broker permission to inform us in case your policy is cancelled or terminated before the expiry date.

If any information provided or self-declared to be in your possession is found to be false or untrue, we reserve the right to close your account and forfeit any fees paid. Please contact us if you are unsure about any of these conditions or if your circumstances change after agreeing to them.

Failure to satisfy the conditions or to be able provide any of the information as set out above will exclude you from buying or obtaining leads.

Once you have paid the registration fee or topped up your account you will receive an email with instructions on how to submit this information. We do not guarantee that an application to register on our website will be successful. For security reasons, we do not provide a reason for an application being unsuccessful. Where an application has been unsuccessful and a genuine effort has been made to submit all of the requested documentation within a reasonable timeframe, you will be entitled to a refund of the registration fee and prepaid Credits.

We may amend these conditions at any time either by e-mail or by posting the amended conditions on the Site. Unless stated elsewhere in these conditions, all amended conditions shall become effective immediately once posted on the Site.
