Trade Required: Window & Door Repairs

Description: Upper floor apartment windows have complex hinge/rail setup to protect against higher winds. Many apartments built around 20 years ago seem to have design flaw with plastic widget used in guide-rail - it becomes brittle over time - and eventually breaks. When this widget breaks the window will no longer close properly - which leads to obvious problems like the entire property becoming cold and drafty. This affects multiple windows in my apartment - and probably many others. The solution is to either find a replacement plastic widget, or to replace the many windows. I wonder if its cheaper to 3D-print a replacement - or to identify the window manufacturer and get replacement - or to replace many windowsIf someone was able to 3D print these very simple plastic widgets they could probably sell them to a LOT of people
