Description: I am having an aluminium sliding door fitted in mid-February. It will replace an existing window to the rear of our house.
Thanks for calling. We will have an aluminium sliding door fitted on February 13th (Monday). We will need a builder to:
1. Remove the wall below the window on that morning or the day before.
2. Place a steel beam 30mm below floor level.
3. Plaster after the door is fitted.
I can send a photo of the window and a drawing from the door company with the door and steel beam measurements.
