Description: We are purchasing this house and have been informed by the surveyor that the roof needs to be replaced within the next 24 months. We want to get an idea of how much this would cost.
Roof type: Slated roof (we believe the slates themselves are in pretty good shape and good be reused)
House: Mid-terrace
Sq. Foot: 870
Roof Access: Front and back access, entrance to attic from stairs landing
As part of this job we would also be interested in learning about added extras, for example:
1. Inclusion of velux windows
2. Inclusion of solar panel
3. Any other energy saving additions that could be included.
We also intend on applying for the relevant grants (Home Energy, HRI etc.)
Budget: €30 - €20,000 (this is just a rough guide, quotes may be less than or greater than the budget specified)
