Description: Hi there,We are currently purchasing the above mentioned cottage and based on an engineers report, it is likely to need a number of upgrades to deal with rising damp, potential roof issues and a very poor Energy rating G. It currently has only old electrical water heating. We will likely need to do a number of things, such as insulation, a wrap, deal with the rising damp, possibly some roof issues, new electrics, a new energy source gas boiler for example etc. I can share the engineer report to provide more guidance.We are also looking to avail of SEAI grants as part of this project, so please be registered for those activities.
