Description: Demolition of damaged existing external boundary wall and rebuilding of same.
Wall length approx. 7m.
height 1.9m.
Foundation required and in addition 3 new piers on adjoining wall.
Our building surveyor has recommended the following :
All vegetation growth and ivy to be removed.
Vehicular access gate removed and set aside for re-fixing upon completion of building works.
Wall to be demolished from entrance area to junction of No. 8A.
Existing foundations to be removed and including any roots protrusions.
New foundation to be excavated along boundary between subject property and No. 8A
Foundations to be excavated to suitable depth following inspection of subsoil condition.
New block retaining wall (Solid block on edge) to be constructed along the boundary with No. 8A. wall to incorporate supporting piers.
New section of wall including structural piers to be constructed as per the attached drawing.
Lower section of wall to be constructed as retaining wall capable of supporting higher ground levels within No. 8 A
Reinstatement of grounds on either side and refixing of gate.
Pebble dashed finish to section facing onto public path to match existing finish.
Wall between No.15 and No. 8:
Carefully excavate foundation for 3 new supporting piers.
New structural piers to be incorporated along the rear of the existing section of boundary wall to provide additional support and reduce risk of collapse.
Budget: €1,000 - €10,000 (this is just a rough guide, quotes may be less than or greater than the budget specified)
