Report:
On arrival no power at Rkp, and sounder going off.
I disconnected battery and found only 7 volts, and also mains fuse in panel blown, I replaced fuse and was only getting 2v dc from panel, I disconnected anything drawing power from panel and was still only getting 2 v dc.
Looks like panel is blown.
Panel is Aritech CP9112 with 2 keypads and 24 zones.
All devices should be ok .
Would need 10/70 and extra keypad and expander and DTV will get away with 20 zones as some are tampers on existing system.
The problem is that there are zones 4 of on each keypad and they are not wired back to the panel, would need to run a cable 8 core to each keypad possibly under the floor as the attic space is very low.
Customer wants separate quote for a cable to be run to garage from adjoining games room and fit roller shutter contact on ‘up and over’ garage door and sensor on window.
Customer looking for quote asap as he has no system now.

1 x Panel Upgrade – HKC 1070 Panel
2 x HKC Keypad
1 x 7amp Back Up Battery
1 x HKC 10zone expander
1 x HKC DTV Communicator
1 x HKC Roller Contact – Garage
1 x HKC Contact – Garage
1 x HKC Sensor - Garage
1 x Installation Labour (1.5days)
Total cost of upgrade including removal of old equipment €……………… plus VAT @ 13.5%
Budget: €300 - €1,250 (this is just a rough guide, quotes may be less than or greater than the budget specified)
