have few had few roof leaks in last couple years and roofer told us that roof-tiles were put on without enough over-hang between each roof-tile so rain got in under slates and now all batons and roof felt need to be replaced, whole roof needs to come off and more roof-tiles to be added. need to assess roof to ensure this is the case. need job done properly with scaffolding. house is end-terrace, about 1000 sq ft.
